3 Festival of Visual Anthropology ASPEKTY - 20-22 November 2009

From 20 to 22 November will take place third edition of the Festival of Visual Anthropology ASPEKTY. During three days of the festival we will presented documentary films from around the world: Romania, Italy, Great Britain, Spain, Russia, Serbia, Georgia, Canadaa, Palestine, Israel.
Our screenigs take you into the circle of the various aspects of human life and culture, loneliness, friendship, intimacy. We will present the stories of exceptional people, their customs, daily life in the unique scenery.

Registation is close. Thank you for all submited films.
On 1st of August (11:59 p.m.) we closed film registration for the 4th edtion of ASPEKTY.
All results of preselection will be given after September 15, 2010.

The conference is organized by the Department of Knowledge and Culture Department of Drama, Theatre and Film Faculty of Philology, Nicolaus Copernicus University. 14-15 April 2011 Torun.

Festiwal Antropologii Wizualnej ASPEKTY wraz z rosyjskim festiwalem Days of Ethnographic Cinema poszukuje filmów dokumentalnych, które mogłyby zostać zaprezentowane podczas konferencji pofestiwalowej "Rosja i Polska: obowiązek pamięci i prawo do zapomnienia". Konferencja odbędzie się pomiędzy 22-24 Października w Moskwie.
Poszukujemy również polskich filmów dokumentalnych, które mogłyby być zaprezentowane na festiwalu Days of Ethnographic Cinema, w dniach 28 września - 3 października.w Moskwie
Filmy powinny poruszać następujące zagadnienia: życie codzienne Polaków, grupy społeczne oraz mniejszości w Polsce, Polacy za granicą.
Termin zgłaszania filmów na oba wydarzenia upływa 1 września 2009.

Festival Aspekty invites everyone to submit articles related to visual anthropology, anthropology of film. The most interesting articles will be published in promotional materials during the festival. Will also be published on festival website in the database of articles.
The maximum size of article: 4-5 pages A4, font size 12.
